Why Sozo?
Sozo is a program whose time has come. Science teaches that the majority of people struggle with the ability to regulate their negative emotions. They do not have the resilience needed to return to joy. We do not learn to quiet ourself when we are upset or learn to handle negative emotions. When that happens we turn to other substitutes for joy like negative behaviors, events, experiences, relationships or substance. Anything to give us instant or short term relief. With Sozo we can live the way God intended us to.

Does anyone offer free lessons on SOZO or is it all about money? It sounds amazing and something I would love to know more about and learn. I’ve been all over the net and honestly can’t afford to learn the method. Why the charge to connect with Christ??

      Chad,
I am not sure what you mean. There is a teaching out of Redding California, that has a Sozo teaching. They publish materials. They are not expensive. Our Sozo is a one year program. We will be putting out 40 something video teaching, a 400 page book with devotions included. We will probably charge something like $19.00. This is not an unreasonable price. There will be all kinds of lessons that will be free as well. Books cost, college courses cost. We even pay Pastors. Knowing the cost of running an organization, publishing materials and all the time it goes into making a program I do not think it is wrong to ask a modest fee. It is more than just making money.
There is a lot on television, blogs and radio that we and others do give free. I would be happy to help you find some. In fact Chad, I will be happy to send you our materials when they are done in January without any cost.

This sounds interesting, I have a friend in another state that told me a little about this. How can I find someone/place in my location that practices this?
    Thank you

The most common program, no doubt the one your friend is talking about is from Bethel Church in Redding CA.
    Here is the website: http://www.bethelsozo.com/

There’s is a healing prayer ministry. Our SOZO involves that amd more but we are still finishing our materials.
Other good programs are Thriving, Immanuel Prayer. You can see that at http://www.lifemodel.org/
Also Formational prayer at Ashland Theological Seminary. Go to http://seminary.ashland.edu/documents/FPS0107.pdf

    I hope this helps
